What a Year...

Oh boy, is it really the end of 2010? I can't believe how fast this year went and honestly, I think now that we have it behind us - I can breathe a sigh of relief.

He couldn't be a better husband!

I will start off by saying that it wasn't an easy year for us, actually the past couple of years haven't been easy. Things have come and gone, eventually gotten worse, then gotten better. Both Jeff and I have grown so much, not only as individuals but as a couple. We have been through a lot of trials, but I believe they are slowly coming to an end. Because of this, I am bound and determined to make 2011 the best year we have had so far.

Things that have happened this year - starting in January:

January

Cash is 3 months old!

I went back to work after being on maternity leave - only to find out that there was a lot going on and everything got messed up while I was gone. Cash turned 3 months old and started his round of shots during this month (we found out he doesn't like them at all!)









February
Well, after being back at work for a month, I found out on Feb. 12 that I was being laid off. Needless to say I wasn't too happy about it, but things happen for a reason. I went through a lot to try and get my severance and am so glad I'm rid of the company that I had worked for.

March
Well, it happened again - I FOUND OUT I WAS PREGNANT! Needless to say I was in a state of shock and couldn't believe it. Jeff was stoked and that helped me feel a little better about it. Also, started receiving my unemployment.

April

At his first Bee's game!

Cash turns six months old and went to his first baseball game! He is growing up so freaking fast. Also, during Easter weekend my friend took me to the ER because I started bleeding - A LOT!! I thought I had lost the baby, but learned that it was still there. Jeff also turned 32 on April 6 and on April 22 Jeff and I celebrated our four years of being together!





May
My darling niece Bentley Brynn turned one! She is a doll and I love her so much. Jeff also started a new job during this time which is going to enable me to stay home.

June

IT'S A BOY!

Because of my insurance being taken away from me, I have to switch doctors and hospitals with the baby. I'm halfway done with my pregnancy and we find out that we are having another boy! Also, Cash started fully crawling on his 8 month birthday. :-)







July
Not much went on this month, we started enjoying Cash a lot more since he was more mobile and learned that he loves to go everywhere we do!

August
Again, not much happened this month, being pregnant and having a young one - we didn't do much.

September

Cash is 11 months old!

I turned 32! I can't believe how fast time is going by and honestly being in my 30s has been a big change for me. We decided to renew our apartment lease for another 9 months because we are unable to move up to Woods Cross.

October

Colt Jefferey Hawkins, born Oct. 29

BUG TURNS 1!!! We can't believe that our little bug turned one on October 27. It's crazy how fast time flies and it seemed like yesterday that he was just born. Two days later (at 3:30 a.m.) my water breaks a week before my scheduled c-section. At 8:02 a.m. Colt Jefferey Hawkins comes into the world! Our boys are officially 1 year and 2 days apart!





November
Jeff is working a lot! After being home for a week (and sick none-the-less) Jeff went back to work and went back to 12 hour days for two weeks. We celebrated Thanksgiving with my fam and I cooked this years dinner. :-) Cash starts officially walking during this month!

December
Well, things are crazy on the home front as Cash is into EVERYTHING!!! We struggled financially like we have all year, so Christmas was a very small Christmas this year. Jeff and I have taken one step closer to having financial freedom and we should have everything taken care of by the end of January. Cash is also getting four new teeth to add to the 8 he already has. He is growing up so fast, we don't know where the time has gone!

Well, there you have it. Our year in review... I could have gone into more detail, but that would have been boring! haha I hope that everyone has a great New Year and remember to also keep smiling.

Not Much Is Going On...

Well, tis the season to be jolley I guess...

Not much is going on in our household but I thought I would write a post anyways.

I was talking to Jeff the other day about how I hate living in City-City. I wish we lived in a small town right now. See, when you are older Christmas is like, "blah". But now that we have kids it's going to get more exciting. The thing is, living in the city - it doesn't feel like Christmas at all. There are not a lot of decorations, there is too much traffic and the inversion just sucks. See, if we lived in Helper/Price it would feel like Christmas because practically every house is decorated, the streets are lined with decorations and there is something going on. If we lived in Heber it would be the same way. Living in Sandy/Fort Union, it just does not feel like Christmas. The only reason it feels like Christmas is due to the fact that there is a small 3 foot tree in our apartment. I chose to go with the smaller tree so that Cash wouldn't tear it down. We've even blocked him from getting to it - he hates that fact! haha Anyways, it just doesn't feel like Christmas. I think it also has to do with the fact that we don't have a lot of money and going out shopping sucks. I do know, that it will be fun Christmas morning to wake up and watch Cash open up his gifts (that we haven't gotten yet) haha...

I hope that everyone has a Merry Christmas and things are going good.

2. Where/how did you meet your spouse for the first time?

We went to Junior High and High School together but never really knew each other well. I found him through a mutal friend's myspace page and emailed him. We went to get drinks two weeks later and have been together ever since!

Since junior high (1990ish-1992ish)

4. How long did you date/court before you were engaged?

3 1/2 years

5. Do you have any children?

Yes, two gorgeous boys - Cash (13 months) and Colt (1 month)

Yes two labs

7. What are some of your favorite activities together?

We loves sports!! Especially football. We love to go throw the football, go workout together, watch movies, just hang out... We just like being together - it never gets old!

8. Do you have a favorite vacation spot:

Probably Oakland, California because it's the only place we've been together outside Utah

Iggy's in Fort Union to get drinks (he almost ditched me too because my computer wasn't working and he didn't have a phone and he went to dinner with his friends and we ended up getting late night drinks instead. Our friend Frank Martin told him he needed to go and told Jeff "what if this is your future wife?" Thank you Frank!!!

10. When did you first kiss?

He did - after we went yarn shopping. We got home and he just said it. I was knocked completely senseless from it because I wasn't expecting it. He always surprises me like that!

LOL no, we got married in a beautiful park

Yes, I am always getting surprised

14. Where did you go on your honeymoon:

We didn't really have a honeymoon - no money... We ended up going to Snowbird for the night though.

Before we were actually boyfriend and girlfriend - it took about five or six dates... But we had known each other for awhile...

Babe, Hun, Courtney, Jeff... Asshole, stubborn ass, f#cker... LOL all out of love I mind you!

17.Where do you each work or go to school?

I got laid off February 12, 2010 so I am a stay-at-home-mom now. Jeff works for the Holly Refinery in Woods Cross.

18. Which situation is the hardest on you as a couple?

Money is one, but Jeff was in the Marines and he is a neat freak where I'm a little more relaxed... I'm getting a lot better, but it causes us to fight every once in awhile! haha Plus we are both incredibly stubborn and that can get rough! haha

19. Did you go to the same school?

Yes, Helper Jr. High and Carbon High School

20. Are you from the same home town?

We both grew up in Carbon County for the most part, but we both lived in other cities as well.

21. Who is smarter?

Well it depends...I'm more book smart while Jeff is more street smart. We balance each other out well! But I would have to say that Jeff is incredibly smart (sometimes smarter than me) even though he won't admit it.

22. Who is more sensitive?

Oh that would be me by far. I can cry over anything. Jeff just tells me to suck it up! haha

23.Where do you eat out most as a couple?

Burger King or Del Taco hahaha.. just cuz they are both close by... But if we go out to dinner to a restaurant then it is usually Applebee's...

24. What attracted you about him/her first?

His smile! He has this way about him when he smiles at me with a hat on backwards, I melt and will do anything he asks. Plus he is just so nice! I was so nervous when we went out the first time, but he put me at ease with the way he was!

25. Who is more social?

Oh that is me by far!!! Jeff is more of a homebody and I know everyone and their dog - especially in Heber. I'm a people person!

26. Who is the neat-freak?

That would be Jeff (thanks to the Marine Corps and his parents). I'm getting A LOT better though!! He has taught me a lot! hahaha

28. Who hogs the bed?

Jeff does by far - he likes to alligator roll and everything!

29. Who wakes up earlier?

That would be me. I'm up with the kids and I'll get up when Jeff's alarm goes off in the morning and make his breakfast and lunch for the day and get his coffee going - I'm a nice wife like that. He has a hard time getting out of bed.

30. What are HIS favorite things and HER favorite things?

Jeff: FOOTBALL!!! Oakland Raiders (even though he won't admit it right now). Heavy Metal Music, FOOTBALL, UFC, working out, BEER, FOOTBALL, a nice BBQ'd steak, playing with Cash, the doggies and of course his wonderful wife! haha

Courtney: My boys (Jeff, Cash, Colt), my doggies, football, baseball, watching movies, going out, enjoying some quiet "me" time, working out, photography (sports mainly and then my babies), my niece and nephew, and many other things to list on here...

Our Boys Are Growing Up!

Well, today our little man Colt turns one month old! I can't believe how fast time is flying by! It seems like yesterday he was born! He has been a joy but also a pain at the same time. He has been mildly colicky and it has sucked. Cash was never colicky and so it has been hard, but I'm seeming to manage. I can't believe how hard it has been to juggle two little ones but somehow I am surviving. I'm just grateful I have a husband who is willing to help me in any way he can! Also, Cash turned 13 months this past Saturday - someone tell my boys to stop growing up so fast please!!!

1 Year and 2 Week Appointments

So today I had the pleasure of taking both boys to their doctor appointment. I decided to schedule them at the same time to kill two birds with one stone! :)


Here are their stats!


Cash: 1 year checkup

23.3 pounds at 54%

31 inches at 78% 

Head is at 18.3 inches and he is finally in the 50% 

Colt: 2 week checkup

7 pounds at 10% 

20.08 inches long at 26%

Head is at 13.6 inches at 10%

Also, both boys were so good while we were at the pediatricians! Cash had to get shots and was not happy about it, but he was a trooper!

I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have the boys that I do. They just make me smile!

Well Colt's Here (post long time coming)

Well, this post has been a long time coming (and warning, this is a long post) and I'm sorry it has taken me forever to get it posted, but I have been extremely busy and sleeping every chance that I get.

Well, Colt Jefferey Hawkins finally came into the world on October 29, 2010 at 8:02 a.m, weighing 6 lbs 6.2 oz and was 19 inches long. It's weird to think that my children are only 1 year and practically 1 1/2 days apart! haha But it's true.

My scheduled C-Section for Colt was supposed to be on November 5, but at 3:30 a.m. on Friday, 10/29/2010 my water broke and I went into labor. Let me tell you that once my water broke, the contractions came fast and furious and I was not happy about it. It was weird too, because I had heard a huge pop in my lower section and I wasn't sure what it was and then all of a sudden I started having pains. I got up and went to the bathroom where the water came out and then I went back to bed and told Jeff "I think I'm in labor".  He told me to call the hospital so I did and they told me to come in. I had to call my mom to come watch Cash, because she was coming from Midway and my brother was able to bring her down.

Everything was calm while my mom was on her way and I started having really painful contractions. I was able to get freshened up a little and Jeff loaded the car with our stuff and went and grabbed something to eat because he was starving. Once my mom got to my house, Jeff and I left. All the way to Jordan Valley I was in major pain because of the contractions. Once we got to the hospital they put me in a room and of course had me answer a million questions and sign papers (all of this during my contractions). Finally they got the drug doctor and boy was I happy to see them. After going to the bathroom, they put me in a wheelchair and took me into the O.R. for my c-section. My doc was funny and was like, "Isn't this the wrong Friday", which helped calm me. I was able to finally get my epidural and boy was I a happy woman after that.

While they were getting everything prepped, I ended up throwing up due to the drink they made me take before we went into the O.R. Poor Jeff had to hold the little trays while I just laid there throwing up. He is a trooper! Needless to say, that after throwing up I was in much better shape! Once they started, I didn't know what to think because this c-section was a totally different experience than my last one. This time I knew what was going to happen and I hadn't been drugged for the past 24 hours. Finally, they were able to get Colt out of me and when they put him up over the curtain to show me, I couldn't have been happier. The first thing anyone said was, "wow this boy has a lot of hair!" And boy does he! I instantly started crying once I heard him cry (this happened with Cash too haha) and I was just so happy.

After getting Colt all cleaned up, Jeff was able to bring him over and show him to me and we hung out while they sewed me back together. I have never been so happy to see a baby before!! The reason? This was a tougher pregnancy for me this time around. (We almost lost Colt back in April when I had a placenta blister pop and cause me to bleed all over the place causing a fake miscarriage). Needless to say, both my boys are miracles!!

After getting sewn up and into my bed, they wheeled me and the baby into my room. I was so happy to have him with me because I didn't get to see Cash for almost four hours after he was born due to him being preterm.

All-in-all this was a much better c-section all around and I was happy that everything went smooth. I do have some healing to do and have a pocket of fluid in my c-section line so I have to keep it open and go to the doc every week to get it checked, but I am hoping I am almost done with this. It's hard having to have Jeff pack it twice a day and clean it out for me, but he is willing to do it. God bless him!! But overall I am doing well and Colt is doing well too!

I want to say thank you to my mom for watching the bug (Cash for me while I was in the hospital)... Also, thank you to Jeff for always being by my side during everything. He is such a wonderful father!!

Anyways, that's my story about Colt. Not as drama filled as Cash's birth, but still a great story!! I'm just glad he is healthy and ready to be in this world!!

So I never thought I would have a one year old and as of yesterday I do! Cash turned one on October 27 and it was such a joy to see and think about how much he has progressed. He went from being so tiny and 4 weeks early, to so big and strong and probably over 25 pounds (we haven't had his 1 year checkup yet due to baby). I have never been so in love with such a little man before. There is so much about him that just makes me smile and I can't believe how big he is getting. Jeff and I are so proud of him and can't wait to see what happens in his next year of life!!

Yesterday though for his birthday we ended up just doing a little family party (consisting of me, Jeff and Cash, along with Harley and Raider). We are going to have a party for him, but it's going to be delayed due to the arrival of Colt any day (actually I think within the next day or so the way things are going).  We made him his football cake and he got a big dump truck he can push around and put stuff in. It also came with blocks and he loves blocks! So it was a good quiet birthday for him! I'm sure his party won't be quiet, so it was nice just to have something quick for him before the chaos begins soon.

Things About Cash We Love:

• He loves to give kisses! Granted they are open mouth kisses, but he loves to kiss us and the dogs!
• He is such a flirt! Cash loves to wave at everyone and loves it when girls pay attention to him. You might ask why we love this, but it's so fun to see his reaction when a girl smiles and waves at him.
• He loves to torture the dogs! Yes, he loves to chase them around and they are both so cranky now that he can crawl!
• He talks - a lot! I think he gets this from me. He will tell you all about his day and will let you know what he thinks. He finally said "dada" the other day and says "bub bub" a lot and says "up". 
• He is trying to walk and even when he falls, he gets back up again and trys to do it again.
• I could keep going, but we just love this little boy so much and the fact that he has a fascination about life! 
• He is so happy!
• He loves to eat!
• He loves to be loved!
• He loves his dad more than anything!
• He loves football (dad loves this more than anything)!
• He loves to play with his toys!
• He loves to play with his balls (basketball, football, baseball)!
• He loves to love people and always has a smile on his face!
• We even love his big tears when he cries!

Cash we love you so much and we are so proud that you are our son! You are going to be the best big brother and Colt is going to be lucky to have you to show him the way!

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY BUGGY!!

Three More Weeks... Well, Maybe...

So last year when I hit 36 weeks I was just thinking that I had four more weeks to go until Cash was arriving and then I would be good. No one told me that my water would break (due to a storm) at 36 weeks and 2 days. I ended up having Cash on 36 weeks, 3 days gestation, which put him at four weeks early and preterm. We were so lucky to have him come out extremely healthy and were able to take him home after a long week in the hospital.

Well, today marks my 36 week mark. I'm curious as to see if my body does the same thing Cash did or if Colt will be the stubborn one and wait until November 5 when my c-section is scheduled. I could have him within the next couple of days, but then it could be an extremely LOOOONNNNNGGGGG three weeks! haha I never know what is going to happen and I hate not knowing the outcome of this new little man that is coming into our lives. I know he'll come out when he is ready to come out, but I'm sitting on pins and needles here! haha

Last night about 3 a.m. I woke up with major pain in my pelvis and knew I was having a big contraction. Luckily after a couple of trips to the bathroom (TMI sorry), I was able to start feeling better and finally got into a comfortable position to fall back to sleep.  When Jeff's alarm went off I about cried because I had just barely fallen back to sleep and I knew I had to get up so I could get his breakfast and lunch packed (yes I am that wife but I love him). Cash was still asleep (he slept all night! woo hoo) and I hurried up so I could go back to bed. I have been taking it super easy all day because you never know what's going to happen. I just hope that something does happen, but not until it's time. I go back to the doctor on Tuesday so we'll see what he says.

So now we really begin the countdown. Do I have him within the next couple of days or on November 5? Guess we'll just have to wait and find out! :)

And the Countdown Begins!

Well, went to the doctor today for another appointment. I'm currently at 34 weeks and 5 days, so it's getting close. I talked to my doctor about the pains I have been having in my lower pelvis and I guess my "symphasis" has shifted so that's the reason for my pains. I'm still scheduled to have the baby on November 5 via c-section, but I'm hoping that within the next couple of weeks I will have our little Colt here. I just want to meet the little guy who kicks me constantly and loves to play with his brother, even though he doesn't even know Cash is his brother. My blood pressure is starting to rise a little bit, but this was about the time that it started doing it last year with Cash, so it will be interesting to see if it stays normal or keeps rising. I'm hoping that around week 37-38 I'll be able to have the baby, but you never know what's going to happen. My water broke last year due to a pressure change in the weather so I have to take it really easy because there is a low pressure moving through Utah right now.

I feel like I have been pregnant forever!!! I can't wait to just be normal again and to stop hurting and actually be able to move normally. I want Colt to make his appearance when he is supposed to, but I'm so ready for him to come now! haha

I'll keep you guys posted on what is going on. I go back to the doctor in two weeks, then I start my one week appointments. I joked with the doctor that I didn't make it to my next appointment that I had last year at the same time! haha He just said, "well lets get you to 36 weeks at least!" haha

11 Months Old!

Well Cash is almost a year old! Today marks his 11 month birthday and we can't be more proud of this little man. Yesterday we took him to Wheeler Farm (1st time for all of us) and we had a great time! We just want to say Happy 11 months to our little bug! We are so proud of you and all that you are accomplishing. We know you're going to be the best big brother and help Colt out with learning everything you have learned!

Random...

Well not much has been going on, but I am counting down the days until I have Colt haha... I went to my appointment yesterday and things are looking really good - minus the fact that my iron is low and my blood pressure is starting to go up like it did with Cash, but things are looking good. My c-section is scheduled for November 5 unless I go earlier than that and it looks like Colt weighs about five pounds already. Note: This is how much Cash weighed when we brought him home from the hospital! haha

Anyways, Jeff and I got to spend our first weekend alone since Cash was born and let me tell you it was nice to just have him to myself. I was able to get some sleep and just enjoy some quiet time before the baby comes. Thank you to my parents for taking their grandson for the weekend - he had a blast!!

Well, not much else is happening, we lead a pretty boring life right now! haha Cash did get another tooth, so he has eight now! He is also battling a cold right now, but it's on the way out so I'm happy!!

So I have decided to post a picture of my belly at 31 weeks. I'm bigger than I was with Cash at this point last year. My belly button might even pop with this one but I'm hoping it won't. I haven't been feeling too good, but I'm hanging in there - just really tired! I'm so ready for Colt to be here, but I know he still has 8 more weeks til he can come out...

Lazy Sunday Day...

So yesterday we decided to pack the bug up in the car and head up to the park where we got married. It was a beautiful day and we threw the football around a little bit until Cash decided he wanted to play! haha He kept tackling the ball which was really cute! We then decided to take a drive up Little Cottonwood Canyon, not knowing Oktoberfest was going on and only made it a little ways up before turning around because there were entirely too many people!!! But it was a nice day and it was nice to get out of the house and go play in the sun!!

9 more weeks!!

Sorry, I'm just excited, but we only have 9 more weeks! WOO HOO!

Conversation With a 10 month old

Me: "Cash stop pounding on the tv"

Cash: Looks at me and sticks his tongue out

Me: "Cash NO!"

Cash: Starts blowing bubbles at me

Me: "Cash if you don't stop I'm going to come over there, stop!"

Me: "Cash NO!"

Cash: Turns and smiles at me while sticking out his tongue

Me: "CASH!"
I am now walking over to Cash, grab his hands and smack them telling him NO! 

Cash: Smiles and starts laughing at me and proceeds to want to stand at the tv again and start pounding. 

After me telling him NO one more time, he decides to just walk back and forth along the tv and doesn't pound at all. He did end up changing the channel but that was an easy fix!

I swear there is no end in sight! haha He thinks I am funny and just wants to laugh at me! I guess I will take that as a good sign! He loves me!

10 Months Old!

Cash is 10 months old today! Boy is time flying. He is doing a lot on his own now, but still wants the aid of his mom and dad. He is starting to sleep all the way through the night and stand on his own (even though it's only for a little bit). He also has seven teeth with another on the way! But we are so in love with this little boy and can't believe in a couple months he is going to be a year old! 

Happy 10 months bug!!

10 more weeks to go!

So as of today I am 29 weeks and since my doctor is taking Colt a week early - I only have 10 more weeks to go!!! Can I tell you HOW FREAKIN EXCITED I AM!!! This has been a completely different pregnancy than I had with Cash and this baby better be a good boy like his brother, because this pregnancy has been a handful!! haha

I am so blessed to get two little boys, but I'm ready for my body to come back. I told Jeff yesterday that I'm going to hit my goal weight whether it kills me or not. So pretty much I'm going to have to lose around 80 pounds, but still - I'm going to fit back into my jeans I wore when we first started dating!!

And did I mention a nice drink spiked with alcohol sounds nice about now too! hehe

Two Down, One to Go!

So today is the start of my third trimester. It's crazy to think that our newest little man will be here in 3 months. Jeff is over the moon excited and I'm scared, excited, happy, anxious, etc... all at once.

Back in February when I found out that I was pregnant again, I'm not going to lie - I flipped out! I took three pregnancy tests to confirm it, then downed the rest of my wine that I had in my fridge. Needless to say I was not ready and I didn't even know what to think. I honestly thought Jeff was going to flip out when I told him and I waited until he got home before telling him. I had a hard time talking to people on the phone because I was in a state of shock. When Jeff got home, I dropped the bomb on him and needless to say, he reacted a whole lot better than I did.

For the first couple of months we were both in a state of shock and had a scare at the first of April. Luckily little man wanted to hang on and prove that he is a fighter! So now that I only have three months to go, everything is becoming more real.

I still have a lot to do, but I feel grateful that I have such good people in my life to keep me in check. Jeff is so supportive and tells me I'm being stupid - especially when I'm being really stupid! I love him so much and he is the best dad ever. I just wish I had two of me to take care of everything that's going to need to be done.

Anyways, I'll shut up now, but never in a million years would I have thought to have a child (because frankly we didn't think we could have kids) and now we will have two beautiful boys in two years!

"You Can't Get More Perfect Than That!"

So on Tuesday, August 3, I took Cash to his 9 month appointment. I was excited about this appointment because HE DIDN'T HAVE TO GET SHOTS! haha Cash does not handle shots very well and seems to not feel good for a couple of days after he gets them, so I was just grateful to talk to his doctor and see how well he is doing. I was also excited to see how much he weighed and how tall he is getting. Jeff and I are almost shocked at how well he is growing, but he is becoming such a big boy it's not a surprise.

We got some very good news and found out that Cash has moved up from the 47% to the 60% in weight and is now weighing in at 21.23 pounds. His height went from 48% to 64%! He is measuring 28.75 inches long! He is starting to catch two of his best friends who are about an inch or two above him and they are 7 and 8 months older! Needless to say I think by the time he is one he'll be almost there! haha

You're probably thinking - why in the world am I excited about this progress? Well, if you taken in to consideration where Cash came from when he was a baby you'd understand. In weight he was at 4% and in height he was at 3%. Now he is above the mark on both categories. Plus the doctor said his head looks perfect. He pretty much said, "you can't get more perfect than that, I'm really impressed".

With another baby on the way, I'm just excited to see the changes in Cash and can't believe what he does day in and day out. He now has 6 teeth (4 top, 2 bottom) and talks and talks! He loves, loves food and eats EVERYTHING we give him. There isn't anything we don't hesitate to feed him because he seems to like everything. haha

Well, I'm sure I'll post more about this happy little boy, but until now I'm heading out for the night!

My Cheeseball!

I can't get enough of this little boy! He is such a joy and Jeff and I are so in love with him! I've also learned that Colt reacts to Cash in my belly when Cash is around. I think he already knows Cash is his brother. And to those of you who doubt this boy is my son - this picture says it all! What a ham!!!

Time is Flying!

Well today marks week 25 of being pregnant - so I only have 15 more to go! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy (like Cash's) is going. We have also settled on a full name and Cash's brother's name is going to be: COLT JEFFEREY HAWKINS

I have a lot of mixed emotions when it comes to having another baby so soon, but I have a lot of support here at home so I know things will be okay. My biggest fear is not being able to give the boys all the love and attention they will need. I know eventually I will be able to get into a routine and make it work, but it scares me at the same time.

On the flip side of my crazy pregnancy, Cash just turned 9 months old on Tuesday! He is growing up so fast and frankly it scares me to see how much he is learning each and every day. He is so smart and is VERY persistent on doing things himself and doing it the way he wants to do it. We are still having trouble with sleeping through the night (he wakes up once and sometimes twice still) but I know that will get better. He's also got four teeth and two more top teeth are ready to break through any day now! Jeff and I are just amazed by this little boy and are so proud to call him our son. He is also a little stud, as he flirts with all women, girls, etc... He loves to look at girls and gets a cute smile on his face when he sees them. I'm already worried he's going to be a ladies man and he's how old? haha

Other than that, not much else is going on. Jeff started a new job back in May and drives to Woodscross everyday. Thank you to Becky for putting a good word in for him! :) We also found out that it is nice up there and will probably be relocating to Woodscross/Bountiful come September. Our lease at our apartment is up at the first of October and with the baby coming at the first of November, I want to be settled and moved before he comes. I would hate to be moving and go into labor! I just want to be able to schedule my c-section! haha

Well as for me, I have had a crazy pregnancy (being sick, indigestion, body aches, etc...) and have been staying at home with Cash. I have enjoyed not working (got laid off in February) but it still seems weird to me. Luckily with Jeff's new job paying him so well I will be able to stay home with the boys which is nice. The only thing that sucks is the fact that to make good money he has to work a lot. In time though we will be able to get things figured out and on a roll!
